Dee Stone, Broker Associate

 

My name is Dee Stone ,  I have been a Realtor on Topsail Island since 1996.  My market area consists of coastal resort /investment properties, including oceanfront, ICWW, sound front, island interior, and mainland residential homes and lots, as well as condominiums and townhomes.  I specialize in assisting Buyers and Sellers meet their specific needs.  The markets I specialize in are the Greater Topsail Island Area, which consists of  Topsail Beach,  Surf City, North Topsail Beach, Sneads Ferry, Holly Ridge, Jacksonville and Hampstead, all located in North Carolina.

 

Each year I strive to improve my marketing plans, update my technology and further my knowledge by taking educational classes to keep me updated on current laws and issues concerning the real estate field. For those of you meeting me for the first time . . . get your questions ready, open your minds and be prepared for a satisfying and successful real estate experience! Because of my knowledge of the Topsail Island and surrounding area, I was personally selected by the Broker/Owner to evaluate the value of properties for the Greater Topsail Island and Jacksonville Areas.

 

I strive to continually improve my marketing plans, stay on the cutting edge of technology and further my knowledge by taking educational classes to keep me updated on current laws and issues concerning the real estate field. I use both traditional and internet strategies to serve my clients. I have served on the Topsail Island Association of Realtors Board of Directors as the Secretary for 3 terms and am the Past President for 2004. I am a Director on the Board of Realtors, and am the current Chairperson for the Multiple Listing Service of my Association, and have served as such for the past 4 years. I was voted by my peers as the 2002 TIAR Realtor of the Year, have held the title of Top Producer, and winning several awards for my hard work. I have represented my Association on number of occasions, while setting in on BASE-(Business Alliance For A Sound Economy-A Real Estate Home/Builder Governmental Affairs Organization).

 

Before starting in Real Estate, I worked with Onslow County School Food Service for over 16 years, as a Nutrition Specialist overseeing the Child Nutrition Program of several local schools. I was born and raised here locally, graduating from Dixon High School, a local school near the Island. My husband, Robert and I have been married for 36 years. Robert is a aircraft sheet metal mechanic for NADEP at the Military Base of Cherry Point, NC. We have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Topsail Island has always been the beach my entire family has enjoyed. Our three children all graduated from the local schools, and now our grandchildren will be growing up in the area as well. Working as a team has given me more quality time with my family. I enjoy fishing, dancing, listening to music, and playing with my grandchildren. I am involved with my church and also help with a women outreach ministry called the Reaching Hearts Foundation, which assist mothers and widows in need, and participate in womens prison outreach.
