My name is Chris Rackley and I have been a Topsail Island Real Estate Broker since the year 2000 specializing in resort/investment coastal properties such as homes and condos, small and large land transactions including assistance in land use/permit approvals, marketing new home communities as well as overseeing the brokerage operations of property management (vacation and long term rentals), HOA management and our affiliated company brokers. The markets I specialize in are the Greater Topsail Island area, comprised of Topsail Beach, Surf City, North Topsail Beach, Sneads Ferry, Holly Ridge andHampstead, NC I subscribe to a high level of commitment to my clients, their goals and strive to give them the highest service possible.

 

Previous to being a broker, I worked in property management, front office and light maintenance for Lewis Realty Associates, Inc. as well as in the hospitality/hotel industry during college at North Carolina State University.

 

I have been a consistent producer in the local market during my career and have marketed several new home communities using both traditional and internet marketing strategies. I served my local Realtor Association, protecting private property rights and promoting ethical conduct as the 2006 & 2009 President of the Topsail Island Association of REALTORs, leading the association in several endeavors including Luggage For Foster Children, assisting property owners in tax revaluations appeals, expansion of current facilities, developing and maintaining civic and government relationships and public relations. I received the Topsail Island Realtor of the Year award in 2003 based on my ethical standards and leadership by my colleagues. I am also a Member of Surf City Economic Development Committee, Surf City Emergency Readiness Committee and a State Director of the North Carolina Association of REALTORs and have sat as a director on BASE, (Business Alliance For A Sound Economy – A Real Estate/Home Builder Governmental Affairs Organization).

 

I live in the area with my wife and enjoy boating, fishing, scuba diving and learning more about worldwide, national or local history. I also enjoy working on a home renovation project on our personal home; recently finishing a complete renovation of the kitchen and living area.
